Hamilton College's Maggie Rosenbaum '14 swept the three backstroke events for the Continentals in a meet against Trinity College and Connecticut College at the Trinity Natatorium on Dec. 7.

Results

Rosenbaum is a two-time national champion in the 100-yard back and has earned six All-America awards at Hamilton. She captured first place in the 50 back with a pool-record time of 27.87 seconds, the 100 back (59.42 seconds) and the 200 back (2:10.93).

Sarah Dempsey '14 finished runner-up in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.15 and in the 200 fly in 2:16.96. Dempsey was fourth in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:55.80 and took fifth place in the 50 fly in 28.44 seconds.

Sarah Hooper '16 ended up fourth in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.58 seconds and in the 100 free in 56.13 seconds. Allie Reeder '14 finished seventh out of 22 swimmers in the 100 free with a time of 56.65 seconds.

Hamilton lost 211-109 against Conn. College and fell to Trinity, 186-142. The Continentals are off for final exams and winter break until they host Wesleyan University on Saturday, Jan. 4, at 3 p.m.
