Women's tennis drops pair of NESCAC matches

Hamilton College lost two matches against New England Small College Athletic Conference opponents played indoors at Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on April 23 and 24.
The Continentals (5-8 overall, 0-5 NESCAC) fell 7-2 against Colby College on Saturday, and dropped a 9-0 decision against nationally ranked No. 12 Bowdoin College on Sunday. Hamilton hosts Connecticut College for one more NESCAC match to finish the season on Saturday, April 30.
Against Colby (5-12, 3-5), Deborah Barany '11 and Vrinda Khanna '13 won their singles matches for the Continentals. Barany was a 6-3, 6-1 winner at first flight, and Khanna captured a 6-1, 6-3 victory at second flight. Barany leads the team with nine singles wins, and has 48 for her Hamilton career.
