Hamilton College split a pair of matches at the 2013 SUNY Oswego Fall Classic, which was held at Oswego's Max Ziel Gymnasium on Sept. 21.

Hamilton (2-9 overall) swept Alfred State in three sets (25-21, 25-17, 25-13). The Continentals fell to the hosts in five sets (18-25, 9-25, 25-13, 25-13, 15-13) later Saturday afternoon. Hamilton defeated Oswego in three sets at the University of Rochester Invitational Sept. 7. The Lakers won their sixth straight match.

Jessica Weston '17 earned a spot on the all-tournament team for the Continentals. Weston tied a season high with 11 kills and added two solo blocks against Alfred State. She posted seven more kills against Oswego.

Against Alfred State (9-4), Brenna Corrigan '14 hammered 10 kills and Courtney Somerville '16 smacked six. Sarah Pfund '14 was credited with 31 assists and 11 digs, and Emily Rosen '15 led the defense with 12 digs.

Against Oswego (11-6), Corrigan led the way with 12 kills. Pfund passed out 33 assists, served three aces and came up with 10 digs. Anna Brown '15, who recorded her 1,000th career dig against Colby College on Friday, led Hamilton with 14 against the Lakers. Kirsten Kampmeier '16 finished with three aces and Jamie Granskie '16 had 10 digs.

The Continentals host Middlebury College in NESCAC action and then Union College for a non-conference match on Saturday, Sept. 28.
