Women's volleyball tripped up at Conn. College

Connecticut College swept Hamilton College in three sets in a NESCAC match at Conn. College's Luce Field House on Sept. 17.

The set scores were 25-19, 25-20 and 25-15. The Camels improved to 2-0 in the conference and 5-2 overall.

Hamilton (7-4, 0-2) was led by Meredith Nuber '14, who hammered six kills. Megan McCareins '14 chipped in five kills and six digs, and Brenna Corrigan '14 smacked four kills. Sarah Pfund '14 and Cecelie Pikus '13 were credited with 10 assists apiece.

Anna Brown '15 paced the defense with 15 digs, and Pfund added eight. Ally Martella '13 posted a team-high five blocks and Erin Casey '15 had three.

The Continentals are off until Tuesday, Sept. 27, when they travel to SUNY Institute of Technology for a non-conference match.
