Women's volleyball wins last match at Elizabethtown

Hamilton College finished with a 2-2 record at the 2012 Days Inn Blue Jay Classic, which was held at Elizabethtown College's Thompson Gymnasium, on Sept. 22.
Hamilton (5-6 overall) lost in three sets to the hosts (25-15, 25-15, 25-13) before wrapping up the tournament with a three-set sweep of York College of Pennsylvania (25-23, 25-15, 25-19). Anna Brown '15 was selected to the all-tournament team for the Continentals.
Against York (3-15), Brenna Corrigan '14 posted a double-double with 12 kills and 13 digs to lead the charge. Amanda Cohen '13 hammered eight kills, and Blaire Frett '16 chipped in six kills and three blocks.
Brown led the defense with 16 digs and Emily Rosen '15 added 11. Emma Lonadier '15 was credited with 15 assists and served two aces. Sarah Pfund '14 passed out 13 assists and Ally Martella '13 smacked two aces.
Against Elizabethtown (12-3), Corrigan finished with five kills and 22 digs. Pfund and Lonadier passed out seven assists apiece. On defense, Brown tied the match high with 26 digs, and Martella recorded five blocks. Frett and Erin Casey '15 ended up with three blocks apiece. Hamilton committed 37 attack errors.
The Continentals host SUNY Institute of Technology for a non-conference match on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
