Megan McCareins '14 led Hamilton College to a four-set victory against SUNY Institute of Technology in a non-conference match played in Marcy, N.Y., on Sept. 27.

Hamilton (8-4 overall) was playing its first match in 10 days. The Continentals dealt SUNYIT its fourth straight loss. The Wildcats, who dropped to 8-9 this year, won the first set, 17-25. Hamilton claimed the next three (25-22, 25-13, 25-11).

McCareins finished with a season-high 13 kills and added a team-high 17 digs. Brenna Corrigan '14 smashed 10 kills, and Meredith Nuber '14 chipped in nine to go with four blocks.

Cecelie Pikus '13 was credited with 19 assists and 10 digs, and served three aces. Sarah Pfund '14 added 17 assists and two aces. Anna Brown '15 recorded 15 digs, Ally Martella '13 ended up with four blocks and Ava Kelley '15 contributed three.

The Continentals host Trinity College for a NESCAC match on Friday, Sept. 30.
