Amanda Cohen '13 was named to the all-tournament team, and Hamilton College dropped its last two matches of the Continental Classic at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Oct. 24.
 
Hamilton (5-26 overall) fought hard in its first match, but fell to Medaille College in five sets (25-23, 19-25, 25-18, 23-25, 15-12). The Continentals lost in three sets to tournament champion St. Lawrence University (25-23, 25-15, 25-8).
 
In the match against Medaille (17-8), Ally Martella '13 recorded a team-high 12 kills, served two aces and added nine digs. Cohen led the defense with a team-high 12 digs and also contributed nine kills. Cecelie Pikus '13 served three aces and passed out 26 assists. Liz Reid '11 contributed five blocks and Kristin Stenerson '12 added three.
 
Against St. Lawrence (25-5), Cohen was credited with a team-high seven kills and seven digs. Reid added five kills and two blocks. Pikus recorded seven digs, passed out 14 assists and served three aces. Rachel Irizzary '12 also contributed seven digs.
 
The Continentals return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 27, when they travel to play a non-conference match against Hartwick College at 7 p.m.
