Courtney Smith ’86, P’16 Hosts Hamilton Interns in W.V.

Courtney Smith ’86, P’16 has created several internship opportunities for Hamilton students this summer through the Greenbrier Valley Community Foundation in Lewisburg, W.V. As the executive director of the foundation, Smith contacted local nonprofits to see if any of the organizations would be interested in taking on summer interns. Several offered to host interns and Meredith Garner ’15, Liz DaBramo ’15, and Medjine Lucien ’16— were selected.   More ...

Hamilton Artists’ Work Included in SAGA Catalog

Five Hamilton artists are represented in a new catalog of works from the Society of American Graphic Artists (SAGA) 2012 member show. Jake Muirhead '86 recently had a solo exhibition, New Prints by Jake Muirhead, at The Old Print Gallery in Washington, DC. The show featured twenty still lifes and landscapes, which the Georgetowner called "captivating and elusive, like sensory memories, leaving the audience contemplating a strong and immediate intimacy with the works."  More ...

Jake Muirhead '86 Opens Solo Print Show

The Old Print Gallery in Washington, D.C. will present a solo exhibition by Jake Muirhead '86 beginning Nov. 11 with an opening reception from 5-8 p.m. New Prints by Jake Muirhead will feature over twenty etchings, aquatints, and drypoints, exploring landscapes and the human figure.
