NYC Program Students Visit U.N.

Students in Hamilton's NYC program went to the United Nations on  Jan. 28 for a general tour. International relations concentrator Dimitru Kaigorodov ’16 contacted his former Hamilton professor Calin Trenkov-Wermuth ’00 who now works at the UN's Department of Peacekeeping Operations. Trenkov-Wermuth met the group and answered questions about his work there.  More ...

Visiting Assistant Professor of Government Calin Trenkov-Wermuth '00 is co-author of a new study, "Assessing Security Cooperation as a Preventive Tool," published by RAND in 2014 and commissioned by the United States Army. According to the authors, "the report tested the assertion that U.S. security cooperation (SC) can help reduce fragility in partner states."  More ...

Model EU Participates in 25th EuroSim Conference

This winter break was an exciting one for Hamilton's Model European Union (EU) team.  After a semester of rigorous debate and training, 11 students were selected to travel to the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands, to participate in the 25th annual EuroSim conference.
