Author Peter Cameron, a 1982 Hamilton graduate, was interviewed for the Contra Costa Times Book Club column (9/7/03). Cameron is author of The City of Your Final Destination. Cameron discussed the characters in the book, which was published in paperback this year (Plume). More ...
Bronson Picket '93 Starring in "Wild Card" on Lifetime
Bronson Picket, a 1993 graduate of Hamilton, was interviewed by The Boston Herald about his role as high school teacher Marcos Morales in the new Lifetime series "Wild Card." According to the Herald: "After majoring in theater at Hamilton College, Picket moved to New York City and was the lead singer for the band Pull. After Pull broke up for "the reasons most bands do," he decided to try acting again. 'I had been avoiding acting because most of the people I knew in acting were jerks,' he said. He became a founding member of the improv group The Flying Monkeys, found a 'terrific' manager, and since then 'I've been very fortunate. Every year I've had some kind of work,' said Picket. More ...
Storyteller Bill Harley '77 Interviewed in Providence Journal-Bulletin
Childrens' storyteller Bill Harley, a 1977 graduate of Hamilton, was interviewed by the Providence Journal-Bulletin about his illustrated books and performances for children. According to the article (8/27/03): "Growing up, Harley didn't have a thought in his head about being a writer and performer: 'I wanted to be a second baseman for the Cincinnati Reds.' At Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., Harley turned -- sort of accidentally -- to performing for kids. 'Some friends and my wife, Debbie Block, whom I met in college, opened a summer camp in Clinton,' he says. 'I was in charge of the music and stories. At the end of the day, when the other counselors were sick of the kids, they'd all say 'Go see Bill Harley.' It was my job to keep the kids from killing themselves for the last half hour.'"

Days Participates in American Bar Association Panel
Hamilton College alumnus and trustee and former solicitor general Drew Days III '63 participated in a panel discussion titled, "Solicitors General in the Spotlight" at the American Bar Association annual convention. Other panelists included Walter Dellinger, Charles Fried, Ken Starr and Theodore Olson. It was broadcast on C-Span.

Steve Culbertson '79 Named to NonProfit Times Power and Influence Top 50
Steven A. Culbertson, a 1979 graduate of Hamilton and president and CEO of Youth Service America, was named to NonProfit Times Power and Influence Top 50 list. In selecting Culbertson, The NonProfit Times said "The United States is a youth-obsessed nation. Culbertson and his organization are making sure that young voices are not only heard by the organizations serving them but also that they are developed into leadership positions." More ...
Stu Baker '57 Featured in The New York Times
Hamilton College alumnus Stu Baker '57 was recently featured in The New York Times. On the front page of the Metro Section, an article was featured describing how several communities in the Hamptons wish to start a new village, Dunehampton. Baker is quoted in the article as one of the plan's main advocates.  More ...

Maggie Hanson Continues To Run (and Win) Post-Hamilton
Maggie Hanson, a 2002 Hamilton Graduate who led the Lady Continentals' Cross Country and Track teams, has experienced continuing running success since graduating. The 23 year-old former All-American won the women's title in the Beach to Beacon 10K road race that took place on August 2 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. More ...
