Wellin Museum to Host Senior Art Show

Wellin Museum Presents Yun-Fei Ji: The Intimate Universe on Feb. 6

Two exhibitions, Yun-Fei Ji: The Intimate Universe and Pure Pulp: Contemporary Artists Working in Paper at Dieu Donné, open at the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art on Saturday, Feb. 6, with a free, public reception from 4 – 6 p.m. Yun-Fei Ji: The Intimate Universe, curated by Wellin Museum Director Tracy Adler, will be open through July 2. Pure Pulp will be open until April 20. Both shows will travel to other venues.  More ...

Random House Subsidiary to Co-Publish Wellin Museum Books

After three years of programming featuring 13 exhibitions, 8 publications, 70 public programs and well over 30,000 visitors, the Wellin Museum of Art can add a new milestone to its roster of accomplishments. The museum will be working with distinguished publisher DelMonico Books/Prestel, a subsidiary of Random House, to co-publish and distribute the museum's forthcoming publications.  More ...

Exhibiting Artists to Discuss Their Work

Contemporary artist Renée Stout and textile artist Karen Hampton will present a lecture focusing on their creative process and artwork currently on display at the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art, on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 4:15 p.m., in the Wellin Museum overlook on Hamilton’s campus. The lecture, part of the Wellin’s Artists in Conversation series, is free and open to the public.  More ...
