The volume, Ezra Pound and Education, co-edited by Professor of English Steve Yao, was recently published by the National Poetry Foundation. The idea for this collection originated at a conference co-hosted by Hamilton College and Colgate University in 2005 observing the centenary of Pound's graduation from the College. 

Austin Briggs, Hamilton B. Tompkins Professor of English Literature Emeritus, published a review of Gordon Bowker’s biography James Joyce. “A New Life of Joyce” appeared in the Fall 2011 James Joyce Literary Supplement.

Professor of English Steven Yao has been named an American Council on Education (ACE)  Fellow for 2012-13. The announcement was made by Molly Corbett Broad, president of ACE.
