Choir and College Hill Singers Taking Show on the Road
Sixty-eight members of the Hamilton College Choir and College Hill Singers will spend the first week of their spring break in March touring the Northeast as part of the annual choir tour. This year's tour will take the choir as far south as Arlington, Va., and north to Burlington, Vt. More ...

Team Hamilton is Part of Largest Local Heart Run & Walk
Hamilton College had another strong turn-out for America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk, held this year on Saturday, March 6, at Utica College. Team Hamilton pre-registered more than 80 runners and walkers for the annual event. These volunteers joined a record 8,740 participants in walking and running between three and five miles. The Heart Run and Walk raises money and awareness for the American Heart Association and its fight against heart disease and stroke. Hamilton has fielded a team for many years. Participants included athletic teams, student organizations, Hamilton staff and faculty. More ...

Hamilton's Top Orators to Compete on March 6
Hamilton's 2010 Public Speaking Competition will take place on Saturday, March 6, from 1-5 p.m., in the Chapel. Thirteen students will compete for three different prizes in this annual event: The McKinney Prize, The Clark Prize, and The Warren Wright Prize. More ...

Mock Trial Team Prevails at Supplementary Regionals; On to Championship Series
Hamilton’s Mock Trial team won its supplementary regional tournament on February 27 at Colgate University and by doing so qualified for the Opening Round Championship Series competition in White Plains, N.Y. This supplementary regional was a continuation of the regional competition at Syracuse University on February 13-14. Hamilton won both of its trials at the supplementary regional—first defeating the University of Buffalo and then Colgate University. More ...

Annual ASB Auction is March 4
The Alternative Spring Break (ASB) Auction will take place on Thursday, March 4, in the Annex/Tolles Pavilion. This annual fundraiser will help support the 100 Hamilton students participating in nine ASB trips this year. The silent auction will go from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the live auction will begin at 5 p.m. Free Tex Mex will be served at around 4 p.m. Come bid on lobsters, reserved Commencement seats, a one week vacation, paintings, gift certificates to area restaurants, shops and spas, among many other great items.

Eleven senior art concentrators along with Art Department faculty visited internationally acclaimed artists' studios in New York City on February 12 and 13. Lane Twitchell, Deb Kass, Nina Katachadorian, An My Lei, and Nicole Eisenman welcomed students into their studios to discuss works of art in progress. The Dietrich Foundation and the Kirkland Endowment supported this event. More ...
