Muirhead and Salzillo Works in International Exhibition

March 11, 2011 

Several prints by William R. Kenan Professor of Art Bruce Muirhead and Professor of Art William Salzillo are on display at the Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition in Peoria, Ill. Included in the exhibition are Muirhead’s “Secret Viewers” and “Fourth of July,” and “Nightingale” by Salzillo. Organized by Bradley University, the biennial juried show runs through April 15.

Danforth Museum Displays Prints by Muirhead and Salzillo

Juror Jim Dine has selected prints by Professors of Art Bruce Muirhead and Bill Salzillo for the 2011 North American Print Biennial presented by the Boston Printmakers. Dine chose only 149 prints from more than 2,000 entries.

Hamilton Printmakers Exhibit at Hartwick College

An exhibit featuring 40 intaglio works by members of the Atelier Four is on display through Feb. 3, in the Foreman Gallery at Hartwick College’s Anderson Center for the Arts. The Atelier Four is William R. Keenan Professor of Art Bruce Muirhead, Professor of Art and Curator of the Hamilton Collects Program William Salzillo and artists Amy Georgia Buchholz ’80 and Jake Muirhead ’86.

Salzillo and Muirhead Prints Win Prizes in Purdue Exhibition

Curator Jenny Schmid, director of Bikini Press International in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has selected prints by Professors of Art Bill Salzillo and Bruce Muirhead for Sixty Square Inches, the 17th Biennial Small Print Exhibition at Purdue University Galleries. Salzillo Work Included in Top Printmaking Exhibition

An etching and an aquatint created by Professor of Art William Salzillo were selected for the 22nd Parkside National Small Print Exhibition at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside. This annual exhibition and its fully illustrated catalog are focal points for the nation's top printmakers.
