The Offices of Sponsored Programs works closely with Corporate & Foundation Relations to assist members of the faculty in their efforts to obtain external funding in support or research and other scholarly activities.
The Office of Sponsored Programs is the authorized institutional representative for Hamilton College on government grants and contracts, and it provides assistance with post award grant administration, including maintain research compliance.

Hamilton College Grants Academy

The Office of Sponsored Programs is pleased to present the Hamilton College Grants Academy, a program geared toward pre-tenure faculty, who will receive focused assistance in completing and submitting an application for external funding. Participants who complete a four-week summer course and submit a proposal will have access to an external consultant and receive a $1,000 stipend. Read for more details

Seeking Funding?

The Offices of Sponsored Programs and Corporate and Foundation Relations can assist with your search; we have several search engines at our disposal, including grants.gov and GrantForward. We can also review potential sponsors to determine if Hamilton is eligible to apply. When we find a suitable sponsor, our office assist with all stages of proposal development. For further assistance, please consult the grant application resources page.

Already Have An Award?

The Office of Sponsored Programs provides assistance with post-award grant management, including financial administration and research compliance. This would include changes to your approved project budget, approving purchase orders, and submitting protocols to the Institutional Review Board.
