Please note that at 4 p.m. participants begin activities and will be attending mandatory events for the rest of the day. Please say your good-byes before the 4 p.m. program.

Saturday, August 17

  • Full day on campus preparing for the trips


Sunday through Wednesday, August 18-21

  • Depart 8 a.m.
  • Three-and-a-half-day wilderness or service trips


Wednesday, August 21

  • Arrive at Outdoor Education Centers around noon
  • Shower
  • Clean group gear
  • Relax and socialize with other pre-orientation trip members


Thursday, August 22

  • High ropes challenge activities
  • Final campfire
  • Awards


Friday, August 23

  • Return to campus by approximately noon
  • Participants return to their school-year residence halls at this time
  • Program ends with a formal banquet in the evening


Saturday, August 24

  • New Student Orientation begins (parents may rejoin students for the day)
