The Writing Tutors

The Writing Center tutoring staff consists of 26 students who share a talent and a passion for writing. The tutors enjoy discussing writing and actively teaching writing skills to all students, from first-years in introductory classes to seniors working on their theses. The tutors are known for their abilities to work well with their fellow students as well as for their own diversity--extending from sophomores to seniors, and majoring in a multitude of different subjects, including English, French, Russian Studies, Psychology, Comparative Literature, Biochemistry, Creative Writing, Math, Music, Sociology, Spanish, Neuroscience, Anthropology, and Philosophy. To be selected, tutors must be nominated by faculty, followed by a screening process conducted by the program's director.
