Yin Zhang, administrative director, has a master's degree in applied linguistics and second language acquisition from the University of Oxford and a bachelor's degree in teaching Chinese as a second language from the Beijing Language and Culture University. Zhang has experience as a visiting instructor of Chinese at Hamilton College.
Chen Wang, acting field director, has a bachelor's degree in English from Dalian University of Foreign Languages and 14 years of experience with Associated Colleges.
Lijing Zheng has a bachelor's degree in automation from Xi’an University of Science and Technology and 12 years experience working with Associated Colleges.
Nitsa Weld, Associated Colleges program coordinator for Hamilton College, has a bachelor's degree in English from Lynchburg College. Wild has worked for 15 years at Hamilton, eight years at Associated Colleges.

Sheng Guo, resident advisor, has a master's degree in teaching Chinese as a second language from Heilongjiang University.
Local Chinese language instructors: Associated Colleges carefully recruits and trains approximately 30 to 35 local Chinese instructors who have bachelor's and master's degrees in various fields.

Songren Cui, Ph.D., assistant professor of Chinese, Asian Studies Program, Bowdoin College. Cui's experience includes teaching Chinese at Bowdoin College, University of Massachusetts (Amherst), Princeton-in-Beijing, the Chinese Summer School of Middlebury College and Harvard University.
Hong Gang Jin, Ph.D., retired Associated Colleges general director and professor of Chinese, East Asian Languages and Literature Program, at Hamilton. Jin taught at the Chinese Summer School of Middlebury College and at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
Haili Kong, Ph.D., professor of Chinese language, literature and film at Swarthmore College. Kong also taught at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Cecilia Chang, Ph.D., associate professor of Chinese and chair of the Department of Asian Studies at Williams College. Chang has more than 20 years of combined teaching experience at Princeton University, University of Michigan, Middlebury Summer Chinese School, Princeton-in-Beijing and Williams College. She has been a teacher trainer for Middlebury College Summer Chinese School since 2006.
Qiusha Ma, Ph.D., associate professor of Chinese at Oberlin College. Ma's experience also includes teaching at Case Western Reserve University and during the summer at Beloit College.
Kuo-ming Sung, Ph.D., associate professor and chair of the Department of Chinese and Japanese and the Program of East Asian Studies at Lawrence University. Sung's teaching experience includes UCLA’s Chinese Summer Program. Sung served as Associated College's field director in 2001-02.
Vivian Ling, Ph.D., senior advisor to Associated Colleges. She has directed U.C. Berkeley’s Inter-University Program at Tsinghua University and Stanford University’s Inter-University Program in Taipei. Ling has experience as a professor at Oberlin College and served as Associated Colleges field director in 2003-04.
Sujane Wu, Ph.D., associate professor of Chinese language, literature and culture, Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, Smith College. Wu has more than 18 years of combined teaching experience at Swarthmore College and Smith College.
