INSTITUTION SUPPORT: In addition to completing the HiF application, all students must complete the required planning process from their institution in order to receive institutional approval for participation in HiF.

For ALL HiF applicants (including Hamilton students after completion of the above "getting started" requirement):
To apply, all students must create an account and a profile through Via-TRM. Please carefully read all instructions on this page before beginning your Via-TRM application (link below).
Note: Non-Hamilton students, initially click the small “Sign Up” link found below the “Sign In” box.
Hamilton students, sign in directly using the “Sign In” box.
Once you have created your profile and account, you will be directed back to the main HiF Via-TRM page to sign in and access the application.
HOW TO APPLY
You will be asked to upload the following materials on VIA
350-word essay in English explaining your reasons to apply to HiF.
French writing sample corrected by professor
* One from a recent language professor.
* One from a recent professor in your major. (If French is your major, please ask for a recommendation from two professors.)
* One from your Advisor or Dean / Director of Off-Campus Study. (At Hamilton College as regards GPA, PE & WI requirements, the Director of Off-Campus Study contact information is email@example.com)
