Refund Amount – Refers to tuition and fees only.
Withdrawal Date – Refers to the date the student leaves the program and moves out of the host family’s residence.
If Hamilton cancels the program, a full refund will be given, including deposit.
If a student withdraws from the program at any time and Hamilton has not cancelled the program, the refund will be calculated minus non-refundable deposit and any funds incurred by the program that are non-recoverable. Non-recoverable expenses include any cost incurred by the program prior to the date of withdrawal (i.e. group flight; homestay).
Annual students who withdraw after fall, will pay a supplementary administrative fee based on their withdrawal date (see below) and will be billed the difference between fall semester alone and AY.
Before October 15: $500 administrative fee plus cost for flight changes
After October 15: $1500 administrative fee plus cost for flight changes
Regardless of the reason for leaving, students withdrawing after the start of the program are not entitled to credit or partial credit.
