Refund Amount – Refers to tuition and fees only.
Withdrawal Date – Refers to the date the student leaves the program and moves out of the host family’s residence.
If Hamilton cancels the program, a full refund will be given, including deposit.
If the student withdraws from the program at any time and Hamilton has not cancelled the program, the refund will be calculated minus deposit and any funds expended by the program that are non-recoverable. Non-recoverable expenses include any funds expended on behalf of the program prior to the date of withdrawal.
If an annual student withdraws after one semester, they will pay a supplementary administrative fee based on their withdrawal date to cover expenses incurred and they will be billed at the cost for fall semester.
Before October 15: $500 administrative fee plus cost for flight changes
After October 15: $1500 administrative fee plus cost for flight changes
Regardless of the reason for leaving, students withdrawing after the start of the program are not entitled to credit or partial credit.
