Maurice Horowitch Career Center Staff
Melissa has nearly 15 years of experience in higher education and career development. She majored in American studies at Mount Holyoke College. and received her M.A. in museum studies from SUNY Oneonta.
Abby leads the employer engagement team and oversees the office’s outreach and promotions, summer internship funding program, and general office operations. She graduated from William Smith College and earned her M.F.A. from Antioch University. She is a member of the Student Emergency Aid Society (SEAS) Advisory Board.
Cheney Cronin
Assistant Director, Employer Engagement and Health Professions Advising
Cheney oversees all on-campus recruiting and employer visits. As part of the Health Professions Advising Office she is a main point of contact for experiential learning aspects for pre-health students. She received a. B.A. in sociology from SUNY Albany. Employers can contact Cheney to set up on-campus visits.
Ginny earned her B.A. in English from the College of New Rochelle, an M.A. from the University of Denver in College Student Personnel/Higher Education Administration and a Certificate of Advanced Study, Counselor Education from New York University. She served as the Student Fellowships Coordinator from 1998-2022.
Sarah has a B.A. and M.A. in psychology from Marist College. Her background includes experience in Student Affairs, Adjunct Instruction, Corporate & Community Education, and Advancement divisions. At Hamilton College, Sarah oversees the Sadove First-Year Internship (FYI) Program.
Jodi oversees the Connect Team, a group of student interns who plan industry-specific events featuring alumni speakers. She holds a M.A. in education from Winona State University, and spent eight years teaching in a variety of grade levels in Minnesota, North Carolina, and Washington.
John received his B.A. in mathematics from Syracuse University (Utica College), a M.S. in applied sociology from SUNY PoIy, and a M.S.W. from Portland State University. His career bridges the fields of social work and higher education, with a focus on educational opportunity programs and mental health.
Korrin manages of the Discovery Team, a group of students who offer appointments and workshops on career development across Hamilton’s campus.
Victoria has a B.S.W. in social work and a minor in psychology from SUNY Brockport, where she also earned a M.S. in Education in Counselor Education with a concentration in College Counseling. At Hamilton College, Victoria oversees the Joan Hinde Stewart (JHS) Career Development Program.
