The fellowship is awarded for the purpose of assisting American students to pursue advanced study in an area related to international relations. The category is broad including: international affairs, management, environmental studies, language, area studies, public health with international relations, etc. The applicant does not have to commit to a career in diplomatic service, although interest of that kind of career will strengthen the application. Awards are based on academic excellence and are for work toward the Master's degree.
ELIGIBILITY

Students who plan to pursue graduate study in an area related to international relations and diplomacy, within one year after graduation from Hamilton. Must be US citizen.

DURATION

Covers one year of graduate studies.

AMOUNT

Covers tuition costs up to $10,000.


SELECTION PROCESS

Hamilton may nominate three candidates - one student from each participating institution receives a fellowship.
