INTRAMURAL sports POLICIES
The purpose of intramural sports is to provide an enjoyable recreational outlet for the participants. It is expected that all competitors will display the highest level of sportsmanship toward one another and any officials present. Unacceptable actions include:
- The use of excessive profanity
- Derogatory, abusive, or threatening remarks toward an official or an opponent
- Detrimental physical contact with an opponent or official
- Team names must be fit for prominent display on campus
Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action applied to either team or individual participants.
Alcohol and Tobacco Policy
Alcohol is prohibited at all intramural events and venues. Players are not allowed to partake in tobacco usage during games.
If you want to play the game but don't have a team, let us help! Send your name, the sport and the league you want to play to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help you form a team! You still must attend the captain's meeting at the start of the season.
