Summer 2021 Plan
Summer Student Services
As always, Campus Safety is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. Call 315-859-4141 for emergency and non-emergency assistance.
Students who have been approved for on-campus summer work are expected to live on campus as required by their job. Once on-campus obligations are completed, students are expected to depart campus unless given permission to remain from the Dean of Students Office.
Students will be housed in Babbitt and McIntosh residence halls for the summer. Resident Advisors will be available and will provide limited activities for the student community to come together.
Euphoria will be open June 1 to August 6 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (schedule subject to change)
McEwen will open on or around July 11 when Opportunity Programs begin. Cash or Hill Card purchases only from July 11 to August 22. Dining halls open for the Fall semester and meal plans begin on August 23. Contact Lucy Burke (email@example.com) for departmental charging requests (e.g., during Orientation).
- All NYS COVID-19 guidelines pertaining to restaurants and dining will be followed as necessary.
- Catering services will remain limited to grab-and-go until further notice. Commons will not be open this summer due to renovations in the dish room area.
There are limited health and wellness services offered in the summer, but students may access a therapist using their insurance through the College’s counseling partner BetterMynd, which offers a wide diversity of therapists and therapeutic approaches. If you are having trouble using your insurance and would like to see a therapist, David Walden (firstname.lastname@example.org) can help you find care.
On-call counselors are also available by phone at any time and on any day of the week if you are in distress. Call 315-859-4340 to be connected; outside the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., press option 2 (you don’t need to wait for the message to end).
The Johnson Health Center provides a nursing triage phone service during the summer. A nurse can review health concerns, provide information and, if necessary, help direct students to off-campus medical resources. To access this service call 315-859-4111 and press “1” to be connected to the call center. Urgent calls will be processed immediately, but for most individuals, a message will be taken and a nurse will call back.
