The Japanese Program in the East Asian Languages and Literatures Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a full-time visiting position in Japanese Language at the rank of assistant professor, effective July 2014. The appointment is for two years. Responsibilities include teaching language courses at various levels. Applicants should: have a Ph.D., though applicants with an M.A. in pedagogy, foreign language education or relevant fields will be considered; be fluent in Japanese and English; and have training and experience in Japanese language teaching at the college level.
