Around College

Home-Court Advantage

The new Little Squash Center gives Hamilton home-court advantage in one of the finest facilities in the college circuit.

Sharing Communal Knowledge

Scholars in the field of communal societies will have a new resource for sharing their research when the Hamilton library’s Richard W. Couper Press begins publishing next year.

A Base Camp for Outdoor Exploration

Dedicated this fall, the Glen House is the new home of Hamilton’s Outdoor Leadership Center, providing dedicated educational and social space for the Outing Club and the Adirondack Adventure (AA) Program.

In the Trenches

Students in the government course “Campaign Internship, Participation, Observation” met once each week to read and discuss texts dealing with congressional elections and political internships. The remainder of the “class time” — 10 hours a week — was spent volunteering for the campaigns of Michael Arcuri, Ray Meier or NY State Senate hopeful Joe Griffo.
