  • The Muslim Students Association (MSA) and the College chaplaincy recently unveiled Hamilton College’s new Muslim prayer room. Located on the second floor of the Chapel, the prayer room is the first space on campus that MSA has been able to call its own.

  • Hamilton College will observe the 10th anniversary of the September 11  terrorist attacks that took close to 3,000 American lives, with events on Sunday, Sept. 11.  The College will honor the memory of Arthur J. Jones III,’84, Adam J. Lewis ’87, and Sylvia San Pio Resta ’ 95 – Hamilton alumni who tragically lost their lives in the attacks on America.

  • The Hamilton College Hill Singers, directed by Professor G. Roberts Kolb, led a Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols on Dec. 5 in the Hamilton College Chapel. Organ music and accompaniment was provided by Professor of Music Sam Pellman.

  • The College Choir will lead a Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols in the Chapel on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 4 p.m. Professor of Music G. Roberts Kolb will direct the choir.  College Chaplain Jeffrey H. McArn, with the assistance of readers and candle bearers from the student body, will officiate. The service is free and open to the public.

  • Hamilton hosted a Gospel Music Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 26, in the Chapel as the culminating event of the 11th Annual Gospel Choir Workshop. Hamilton students and other college community members, as well as gospel choirs from other local colleges and churches, comprised the choir.

  • Hamilton College has announced an eight-week meditation series as part of its weekly Sunday Chapel Service. Services are every Sunday at 4 p.m. in the College Chapel.  The theme of the meditation series is "Values in Leadership."
