  • HamTrek, one of Hamilton’s most popular campus events, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year on May 3. The annual triathlon and walk offers Hamilton community members the opportunity to compete individually or as part of a three-person team in swimming, on-road biking and cross-country running.

  • The sun was shining and temperatures were crisp on Oct. 11 for the inaugural Ham & Legs Fun Run/Walk sponsored by the Staff Assembly’s Wellness Committee. Ninety employees and students participated in the event that included a 5K walk, a 5K run, and 2-mile walk and a 1-mile walk. All events were non-competitive and not timed.

  • Hamilton’s Staff Assembly Committee on Wellness will sponsor the inaugural Ham & Legs Fun Run/Walk on Thursday, Oct. 11, on campus. Ninety employees have registered to compete in one of the four events:  a 5K walk, a 5K run, and 2-mile walk and a 1-mile walk. All events are non-competitive and not timed.

  • The second Hamilton College Wellness Fair or “Hamil-Health” will take place on Wednesday, April 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Tolles Pavilion.  Comprised of more than 50 vendors and representatives from healthcare, fitness and nutrition organizations, this free, interactive and educational event will provide many opportunities to learn new strategies to enjoy a healthier, happier life.

  • Since its formal dedication at Fallcoming in October, 2006, The Charlean and Wayland Blood Fitness and Dance Center has established itself as the hub of campus fitness and wellness activities.
