Opportunity Programs hosted its 11th annual Parents’ Connected Day on April 8. A highlight of the event was presentation of the Through the Doors of Opportunity award to Josie Collier ’97, P’14, which recognizes alumni who choose to give back to their communities, not only in word, but in deed.

Three Hamilton students who developed a Home Energy Assessment Tool (H.E.A.T.) won the grand prize at the eighth annual Pitch Competition. The team of Anna Mowat ’18, Ash Kahn ’17 and Leo Kell ’17 generated an algorithm, accessible by smartphone app, with a 90% accuracy rate. The formula helps homeowners reduce their energy bill without hiring inspectors.
