  • Students on the Hamilton NYC program were busy with a rather unusual activity last week - The NYC Rat Safari. Under the guidance of Dr. Robert ‘Bobby’ Corrigan, a world-renowned authority on urban rat behavior, we went around the city looking at rat habitats and learning more about these interesting creatures. Accompanying us was Matt Combs '13, now a graduate student in Biology at Fordham University; Dr. Corrigan is his thesis advisor.

  • As a part of our Seminar In Global Processes: The Global City, we delve into the creation and functioning of cities around the world, whilst focussing on the locus of our study- New York City. We live and breathe the city every day as we take the subway to work, grab a coffee at the closest Deli or try and figure out why the Walgreens is called Duane Reade here!

  • As a part of the NYC program, we work at our internships four days a week and reserve our Wednesdays for an Urban Ethnography class and excursions. Last week we visited the Whitney Museum to see the Andy Warhol exhibit: From A to B and Back Again.

Help us provide an accessible education, offer innovative resources and programs, and foster intellectual exploration.
