Three seniors have been awarded Class of 1979 Travel awards to support their research. Jordan Allen, Jessie Dromsky-Reed and Daniela Gonzalez are this year’s recipients. The award, established by the alumni of Hamilton’s Class of 1979, offers financial assistance to outstanding students who wish to pursue extensive research projects in different parts of the world.

Seniors Petra Elfström and Emily Hull recently presented their research at the Society for American Archaeology (SAA) Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Petra Elfström ’18 and Emily Hull ’18 have been awarded Class of 1979 Travel grants to attend the Society for American Archaeology (SAA) meeting in Washington, D.C. in April, 2018. They will present posters about research conducted at Slocan Narrows Pithouse Village in British Columbia, Canada, during past summers in Associate Professor of Anthropology Nathan Goodale’s six-week archaeology field school course.
