  • Hamilton Performing Arts opens the spring semester with Perpetual Motion: Revolutions in 17th-Century Science & Music on Friday, Jan. 21, at 8 p.m. in Wellin Hall. This performance is a multi-media production that includes music from the Baroque ensemble Galileo’s Daughters, narration by Dava Sobel from her book Galileo’s Daughter: A Historical Memoir of Science, Faith, and Love, and images of earth and space projected on a large screen.

  • The Hamilton College Orchestra, conducted by Heather Buchman, will perform its winter concert on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m., at Wellin Hall in the Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts.

  • Hamilton College Performing Arts Contemporary Voices and Vision Series celebrates Native American Heritage Month with the Lakota Sioux Dance Theater on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 8 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center. The company will present Cokata Upo! Come to the Center, a three-part evening length work that celebrates the culture of the Lakota people through narratives, creation stories and traditional and sacred songs and dances.  

  • Hamilton College Performing Arts Contemporary Voices and Visions presents David Krakauer’s Klezmer Madness! on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schmabach Center for the Performing Arts.
