Henry Burchenal '12 scored five goals and added two assists to lead Hamilton College to a 16-6 non-league win against Greensboro College at Greensboro's Pride Field on March 16.

Burchenal tied a career high with his seven points. Luke Sadoff '12 chipped in three goals and two assists, and Chris Whelan '13 tallied three goals.

Pax Anthos '14 added two goals and an assist, and Jon Leanos '12 tied a career high with four assists. Simon Lai '13, Corbin Brown '11 and Luke Walsh '13 all scored one goal. Luke Sisler '14 was credited with an assist for his first collegiate point.

Paul Citarella '12 won 9 of 15 faceoffs and picked up five ground balls. Mike Clarke '13 won 7 of 10 faceoffs and scooped up five ground balls. Max Vaickus '12 started in goal and made eight saves in 50-plus minutes. Vaickus allowed just three goals before he gave way to Garrett Akie '12, who stopped two shots.

Hamilton (2-0 overall) led 3-0 at the end of the first quarter, and Anthos made the score 4-0 with his second goal of the afternoon 1:46 into the second quarter. Greensboro finally got on the scoreboard with a man-up goal 23 seconds later.

The Continentals responded with another four-goal run to take control. Sadoff's second goal of the day on Leanos' fourth and final assist gave Hamilton a commanding 8-1 advantage with 9:49 left in the third quarter.

Both teams were credited with 32 shots. The Continentals won 16 of 25 faceoffs, and went 2-for-5 on extra-man opportunities. The Pride (3-4) was just 1-for-8 with the extra man.

Hamilton stops in New Jersey for another non-league game at Drew University on Saturday, March 19, before the Continentals return to New York.
