Bowdoin freshman forward Shelly Chessie (Fredericton, NB) was involved in all five Bowdoin goals tonight, as the Polar Bears defeated the Continentals by a score of 5-2. Chessie tallied three assists and two goals, including one that was unassisted, to lead Bowdoin to victory.

In addition to Chessie's effort, Bowdoin forward Barbara Lanoue (Stockbridge, MA), who is also a freshman, scored two goals and added an assist. Kate Whittemore (Lexington, MA) contributed to the Polar Bear onslaught with a goal and an assist.

For the Continentals, freshman winger Paula Dady (Wallingford, CT) scored both Hamilton goals. Dady now leads the Continentals in both points (4) and goals (3).

The Polar Bears out shot the Continentals on net 79-26. Hamilton goalie Jen Kroleski (New Rochelle, NY) made 42 saves, while her Bowdoin counterpart, Katie Worthing (Brunswick, MA) made just nine.

Hamilton drops to 0-4-0 on the season while Bowdoin upped its record to 3-1-0.
