Alan Cafruny, the Henry Platt Bristol Professor of International Affairs, was the co-presenter of the keynote speech at a conference on the European Union titled "Globalisation and European Integration: The Nature of the Beast" held June 6-7 at the University of Warwick. Magnus Ryner, the co-author of Cafruny's Europe at Bay: In the Shadow of US Hegemony, joined Cafruny in delivering "The Global Financial Crisis and the Obsolescence of European Integration Theory."
