Hamilton College's Colleen Callaghan '11 (Queensbury, N.Y./Glens Falls HS) has been selected a Liberty League field hockey co-offensive performer of the week for her play from Aug. 31 through Sept. 6.
Callaghan had a hand in four of Hamilton's five goals in a 5-1 win against SUNY Geneseo at home on Sept. 5. She scored three times and was credited with an assist as the Continentals (1-0 overall) opened their season with a victory for the first time since 2003.
Callaghan is tied for fifth place on the program's all-time list with 17 goals. She is also fifth in career points with 52. Hamilton is off until Saturday, Sept. 12, when it hosts local rival Utica College at noon.
