Go-to Dining Spot and Meal: Grilled chicken Caesar wrap at the Diner
Favorite Class: American Society because of its unique approach to the subject. We had four professors teaching the course together, which really allowed us to gain a holistic sociological perspective.
Advising: My ALEX advisor has been my #1 support system during my first semester here. I meet with my advisor weekly, and he is someone I can talk to about anything in my life, beyond just academics.
On My Hamilton Bucket List: Skiing in the Root Glen after seeing my linguistics professor walk to the glen with skis in-hand.
When I’m not in class, you can find me … playing piano in the List practice rooms, studying in KJ atrium, or walking around campus with my friends.

Go-To Dining: A black Russian with fries at the Diner
Favorite Class: Global Gothic with Professor Caoile. Despite the course being daunting due to its writing intensive designation, I found myself becoming genuinely invested in the course material and my assignments throughout the semester. I was also able to bond with my professor and my classmates throughout the fall, which made for a very memorable class!
When I’m not in class, you can find me … probably in my room watching YouTube videos or studying somewhere in KTSA.

Go-to Dining: Commons. I like to make a chicken sandwich with the panini press.
Favorite Class: Paying Attention. It was my first time taking a philosophy course, so it was exciting trying something new. The basis of the course was examining different theories of attention and its role in our cognitive, emotional, and ethical lives. The course helped me to realize that what we pay attention to determines our experience, and when you get better at attending to what really matters, your life quality will increase.
Favorite Hamilton Moment: Going swimming at sunset and under the stars in Cranberry Lake during my orientation trip, playing in the Purple Valley frisbee tournament with the Hot Saucers (Hamilton’s Ultimate Team), and having a snowball fight after the first snow fall on campus.
Advising: I’ve met with my ALEX advisor, Noelle Niznik, four times this semester. She assisted me when adjusting to the College experience early in the semester, worked with me through times when I was feeling overwhelmed, and helped me make decisions for the second semester and the future of my Hamilton experience.
On My Hamilton Bucket List: Cross country skiing. I have never done it, and it seems like a great way to take advantage of all the snow we’ve been getting!

Favorite Class: Intro to Econ was an awesome class! Professor Wu is a fantastic teacher and I left wanting to take more courses with the Econ department at Hamilton.
Favorite Hamilton Moment: Going on a hiking trip during 46 Peaks Weekend. Beautiful views and great hiking!
Something You’ve Done at Hamilton that Would Surprise “High School You”: High school me wouldn’t have expected to get the chance to see Lin-Manuel Miranda at Hamilton. The Great Names Series is such a unique and special event; I still remember how excited my friends and I were.
Advising: I’ve met with my ALEX advisor Hannah Stubley. She’s helped me navigate the course selection process and made it totally stress-free. She’s also incredibly friendly! I've found that is the norm with all people at Hamilton.
