Eleven Hamilton College student-athletes have been named to the All-Academic Team for the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) for their accomplishments during the 1998-99 winter season.

Four Hamilton swimmers earned All-Academic laurels for this past season. Senior Alysa Ball (Niskayuna, NY) and sophomore Emily Coleman (St. Davids, PA) copped the honors from the women's swimming and diving team, while sophomores Dan Bordoni (Fayetteville, NY) and Mark Graber (Yardley, PA) represented the men's team.

The Continentals Squash team also boasted four All-Academic Team members. Seniors Liz Brecht (Lebanon, PA) and Emma McLaren (New York, NY) captured the honors for the women's squad. Juniors Phil Budihardjo (Riyadh, SAUDI ARABIA) and John Rhoads (Devon, PA) made the team from men's squash squad.

Three Continentals earned All-Academic honors from the hockey program. Seniors Lydia Heenan (Chicago, IL) and Amy Williams (Potsdam, NY) are the women's hockey representatives, and sophomore Victor Cizmarik (Toronto, Ontario, CANADA) was the lone selection from the men's hockey team.

The student-athletes were selected to the NESCAC All-Academic Team based on the following criteria: a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or higher; sophomore standing; and a significant contributor to his or her team, appearing in at least 50% of the team's contests.
