HILLgroup Discussion Series Focus On: How can HILLgroup and Oral Communication work with you to achieve your academic support needs?

the second in a series of HILLgroup Discussions, will be held on  Tuesday, February 11th, at 4pm in the Christian Johnson Browsing Room.   We want to hear from you!  Have you thought about incorporating novel information or technology into your classes but wondered if you have the resources to do so?  Do you have innovative course development ideas you have not pursued for lack of time to research them?  If so, please bring your questions to this discussion session! HILLgroup can work with you to analyze resources on campus and help you realize your course goals.  HILLgroup is a collaboration of the Library and Instructional Technology Serivces that partners with Oral Communication to provide coordinated academic support.  Our goal is to support faculty in the identification, selection, and use of technologies and content applicable to your teaching or research needs.

In these discussion sessions, Faculty who have not benefited from the HILLgroup will have an opportunity to learn what is meant by coordinated academic support .  Faculty who have worked with the HILLgroup and OCC are invited to come share their perspective.  Faculty who have academic support needs that need to be addressed are the focus. Future topics include use of Geographic Information Systems in classes, Copyright and Intellectual Property Issues, poster session assignments, and the services of the Multimedia Presentation Center (MPC).   HILLgroup discussions are informal. Refreshments will be provided.  Please plan on joining us.
