Hamilton College's Muriel Schwinn '13 (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little HS) was selected a Liberty League co-rookie of the week for women's indoor track and field on Jan. 18.
Schwinn has been honored twice this season. She finished second in the long jump and third in the 55-meter dash at the multi-divisional, non-team scoring Williams College Invitational on Jan. 16. She recorded a mark of 16-feet-7¾ (5.07 meters) in the long jump, and posted a time of 7.70 seconds in the finals of the 55 meters.
Schwinn and Hamilton compete in the St. Lawrence University Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 23.
