Hamilton College's Jon Sanford '11 (Barrington, R.I./Barrington HS) was selected the Division III Upstate men's soccer offensive player of the week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference on Oct. 13.
Sanford scored two goals in two Libery League victories on the road last week. He scored the first goal in a 2-1 win over Clarkson University on Oct. 9. He also tallied the game-winning goal with just 3:17 remaining in the second half of the Continentals' 1-0 win at St. Lawrence University on Oct. 10. Sanford is tied for third in the league with five goals.
The Continentals (6-3-1 overall) have won four straight games, and host Utica College for a non-league game on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 4 p.m.
