The men's swimming and diving team completed competition at the 2003 NESCAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Sunday in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The Continentals placed fifth overall behind Williams, Amherst, Tufts and Middlebury with a score of 1075.0.

Some highlights from day one included a win by Tim Reed in the 500-yard freestyle. The freshman won the race in a NCAA "B" cut qualifying time of 4:36.15. Aran Lawrence placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (21.08 NCAA "B" cut), while Mike Salmon won the one-meter diving event with a score of 464.80. In the 200-yard freestyle relay the team of Andrew Saunders, Kevin Thompson, Tae Chung and Aran Lawrence  won the event in a NCAA "B" cut qualifying time of 1:23.83.

In Saturday's action the team of Aran Lawrence, Steve Morris, Andrew Fink and Andrew Saunders placed fourth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:36.03. Steve Morris posted a third place finish in the 100 freestyle with a NCAA "B" cut qualifying time of 58.88. Jeff Wilson placed fifth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:13.95, while Kevin Thompson was fourth in the 200 freestyle, finishing with a time of 1:45.43. Rounding out the day the team of Tim Reed, Jeff Wilson, Ryan Connor and Kevin Thompson were third in the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 7:01.35.

In Sunday's action freshman Tim Reed placed second in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a NCAA"B" cut time of 16:05.01. Aran Lawrence was second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 46.95, while Kevin Thompson (47.80) and Andrew Fink (47.88) were seventh and eighth respectively. In the 200 breaststroke Steve Morris and Tae Chung finished fifth and sixth respectively. Morris came home in a time of 2:10.48, while Chung finished in a time of 2:14.04. Freshman diver, Mike Salmon, was fourth in the 3-meter diving event with a totla score of 386.40. Finally, the 400-yard freestyle relay team placed first with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 3:04.85.
