
Associate Professor of French Joseph Mwantuali was recently invited to the International Colloquium on African Francophone Literature at the University of South Africa (UNISA) where he was honored for creativity and originality in his fiction work.
Mwantuali also presented two talks at the colloquium. “UN Touareg s’est mariée à une Pygmée de Werewere Liking: de l’exorcisme pour la renaissance Africaine” (“Werewere Liking’s Un Touareg s’est mariée à une Pygmée: Exorcism for the Renaissance of Africa”) was presented on the opening day of the colloquium. “Ramener la littérature africaine au bercail pour mieux la mondialiser” (“Taking African Literature back home to better make it global”) was presented by invitation of the colloquium organizers and was a starting point for the honorees' round table.
