Rice Memorial High School in south Burlington, Vermont, has named Hamilton graduate Damian DiGiulian '93 as head coach of their newly expanded hockey program.  Most recently an assistant coach at the University of Vermont, DiGiulian's appointment coincides with Rice Memorial's addition of an elite Midget Triple-A hockey program to its pre-existing varsity team as a cost-effective alternative to more expensive prep-schools.  "I think everybody is excited.  It is another opportunity for young men to play at a high level and to be challenged academically and not have to go out of state," DiGiulian said.  Prior to UVM, DiGiulian played minor league hockey and has been featured as a college hockey analyst on ESPNU.  DiGiulian graduated Hamilton with a BA in History and was a member of the Men's Hockey Team.
