
Hamilton College's Ashley Perritt '14 (Allentown, N.J./Lawrenceville School) has been selected to the 2012 Capital One academic all-district softball team for District 3 by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Perritt is one of five outfielders on the team. District 3 is comprised of NCAA Division III schools located in New York State. Perritt is a biology and hispanic studies double major at Hamilton.
Perritt led the team with 39 hits, 22 runs and a .358 batting average, and is tied for fifth in the NESCAC with three triples. She set the program's single-season record with 109 at-bats. Perritt was named to the 2011-12 NESCAC winter all-academic team as a member of the women's basketball team.
Student-athletes need to be at least sophomores in academic standing at their institution to be eligible for the CoSIDA all-academic team. They also need to have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better on a 4.0 scale.
