Jen Joinnides scored three goals as William Smith spoiledHamilton's season opener. Susan Thibodeau added a goal and an assist for theHerons, who jumped out to a 2-0 lead five minutes into the game. Brenda DuPuisstopped five Hamilton shots to record the shutout, while Melissa Hyner madeseven saves for the Continentals.
