Hamilton College finished in 11th place out of 16 teams at the 2014 Williams College Fall Invitational, which was held at Taconic Golf Club on Oct. 4 and 5.

Hamilton's Anne Govern '15 and Kate Veasey '17 tied for 41st place out of 83 golfers with 36-hole scores of 183. Veasey's 90 on Saturday was the best round of the tournament for the Continentals on the par-71 layout that measured 5,819 yards. Liz Morris '16 tied for 55th place at 194.

Hamilton recorded a four-person team score of 382 on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon in Williamstown, Mass. The Continentals improved their score slightly to 379 on Sunday for a two-day total of 761 shots. Williams captured the team title with a 624, Ithaca College was runner-up at 641 and New York University ended up third at 646. Williams' Shelby Shote was the individual medalist with a 6-over-par 148 for 36 holes.

The women's golf team has wrapped up their fall season and will pick up their 2014-15 schedule again in March.
