Hamilton College women's lacrosse player Paige Engeldrum '13 (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip HS) was selected to the 2013 NESCAC All-Conference Team on May 8.

Engeldrum, who was named to the first team, is tied for first in the conference with 42 ground balls and leads Hamilton with 20 caused turnovers. A four-year starter, Engeldrum anchored a defense that ranked second in the NESCAC with 306 ground balls.

Engeldrum closed out her career with 125 ground balls and 54 caused turnovers for the Continentals. Prior to joining the NESCAC, Engeldrum started on a defensive unit that led the Liberty League with 6.50 goals allowed per game in 2011 and just 5.95 per game in 2010.

Nationally ranked No. 20 Hamilton (9-8 overall, 4-6 NESCAC) played nine games against ranked teams this year. The Continentals, who were seeded sixth for the NESCAC championship, pulled off an upset in the quarterfinals for the second straight season. Hamilton lost in the semifinals to eventual champion Trinity College.
