Hamilton College women's lacrosse player Sarah Bray '11 was named Nike Division III Player of the Week by Inside Lacrosse on May 20.

Bray was named Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Division III championships tournament following her five goals and one assist in Hamilton's 13-6 win against Franklin & Marshall College in the national championship game on May 18. The five goals were a career-high.

Bray came off the bench to lead the Continentals with six goals and one assist in the last two games, including an 11-10 upset of nationally ranked No. 1 Salisbury University in the national semifinal. She also won three draw controls.

Bray finished the season with 39 goals, including a team-high five game-winners, and added 15 assists, 29 ground balls, 31 draw controls and 14 caused turnovers.

Hamilton won the first NCAA team championship in school history while setting a program-record with 21 wins and 19 straight victories this year. The 19 straight wins make up the longest current win streak in Division III.
