Amanda Regensburger '14 scored with 2:52 left in regulation to lift SUNY Oneonta to a 2-1 win over Hamilton College in a non-conference game at Oneonta's Red Dragon Soccer Field on Oct. 11.

Alex Rimmer '13 scored her team-high sixth goal of the season for Hamilton. It was Rimmer's 29th goal for the Continentals. Liza Gergenti '14 was credited with two saves.

Hamilton (6-5-0 overall) got on the board first in the 36th minute when Rimmer fired a shot directly at Oneonta keeper Amy Lusby '12 that Lusby stopped. Rimmer collected her own rebound and sent it into the back of the net.

The Red Dragons (6-5-1) equalized just over four minutes into the second half as Karly DeSimone '14 crossed a ball from the right corner that rolled untouched across the box. Kori Hamm '14 collected the ball and ripped a shot towards the goal that deflected off teammate Brittany Caronti '12 and into the goal.

Regensburger scored on a direct kick from outside the 18 that hooked into the top left corner of the goal.  It was her second goal of the season.

Oneonta held a 7-6 shot advantage, and took six corners to Hamilton's two.   Lusby recorded three saves for the Red Dragons.

Hamilton travels to Bowdoin College for a NESCAC game on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 12:30 p.m.
